The best advice I can offer you is to come with an open mind. Leave your expectations behind and simply relax and make yourself available to receive the healing energies that come your way. It’s also helpful to set an intention so you can make the most of your healing session. Finally, be sure to drink plenty of water a few days before the session.

The session begins with a general discussion about the nature of your healing and what you’d like to accomplish. This gives you an opportunity to relax, share information, and ask questions; and it gives me an opportunity to assess your needs. During this time, I will offer any intuitive insights I receive about your situation or issues. The beginning consult can last from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the length of the session you’ve booked.

The general discussion is followed by a 60-minute integrative healing therapy session (see description of the 60-minute session). If the therapy session is conducted long distance, I will ask you to find a quiet place where you can lie comfortably without being disturbed for the entire session. Then, with your eyes closed and your mind clear of thoughts, you can simply allow the healing to happen. During an in-person session, you rest comfortably on a massage table (fully clothed) at my location.

The healing session ends with a discussion about the healing event. As with the pre-healing consult, the discussion can last from 15 to 30 minutes depending on your scheduled session. It’s an invaluable time for you to share your healing experience, if you desire; and it also gives you time to reground your energy and center yourself. I use this time, as well, to share my insights with you, including what I did, saw, and received in the way of information or images.

Please be aware that everyone experiences healing energies/vibrations differently and uniquely. So, don’t be alarmed if you experience different sensations during the session. It’s how the energy can show itself when it links with the physical form.

Here are some of the sensations you may notice:

• Tingling around the scalp/head area
• Electrical spasms in the body
• Arm/leg twitches
• Temporary discomfort/pain as blockages are released
• Sense of losing time. You may fall asleep during the session and can feel “out of it” for a few hours afterwards. This is normal. It may point to a deeper healing for those who have experienced trauma or abuse on some level, or it can be a past-life memory release.
• Emotional release or a heightened emotional state including tears or anger
• A lightness of being and totally relaxed

Be aware that the healing process (and the sensations) can continue for up to seven days. You may feel tired or energized; either one is a sign of the healing vibrations working with and for you. Finally, drink plenty of water, more than you normally would. The vibration you received is at a higher level so the body will need to consume more water.
